This year Unipart Expert Practices are proudly supporting the Guardian Healthcare Innovation Awards. The awards are an opportunity to celebrate and share best practice across all areas of the healthcare sector – both inside and out of the NHS. When working with our clients we are constantly witnessing innovation on the floor, where staff are driving forwards change to significantly improve the quality or management of care for patients. This is what these awards are about, recognising these ideas and services, and the teams behind making those changes.
The Guardian is looking to find new approaches, or the application of existing ideas in a new way or new context, which meet the challenges of addressing rising demand, implement the NHS reforms, raise quality and efficiency – and give patients a better experience.
The deadline for entries is 28th June 2013, whereupon all entries are will be considered by an esteemed panel of judges. Tim Sheppard, Head of Healthcare at Unipart Expert Practices will be partaking in the independent panel, who, along with fellow judges will be looking for clear evidence of teamworking, an ambition for improvement and proof of effective change. Preliminary and shortlist judging will take place in August and September 2013, after which all shortlisted entrants will be notified.
Entries will be hosted on the Guardians best practice exchange, which will provide a platform for entrants to share their knowledge and experience further, in the hope that others across the sector can pick and choose innovative approaches they can pilot in their own organisations. The winning ideas must be capable of being replicated by other teams in the UK.
