Business Journal wk49. Transforming Supply Chain Operations

Posted by Steve Morris

I recently spent time with a UK Headquartered International business that provides support products (and services) to internationally located automotive customers talking about how to transform supply chain operations.

We discussed how “Voice of the Customer” (VOC) analytics, Cost to Serve information and Network Design all contribute towards how to transform current supply chain landscape into a supply chain that is fit for purpose in an increasingly competitive market.

The client’s focus is in the US automotive market, but the principles of Network Design, linked to VOC and Cost to Serve apply to any supply chain of the future.

Intelligent Supply Chain, Integrated Supply Chain and Innovative Supply Chain are excellent thematics when looking at supply chain transformation.
